The ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is a very controversial syndrome. It is possible to address it in a pragmatic way, considering both the child’s own characteristics and the family system’s functioning traits. A typology of families was proposed 7 years ago, as a tool that includes therapeutic needs for child and family. Types 1 to 4 are ranked in order of increasing malfunction, from a healthy family to the most dysfun-ctional. This approach provides a way to give better therapeutic indications to every situation. In this article I present, analyze and comment on short pieces of seven cases. The use of psycho-pharmacology is discussed, as well as other methods to help families and children. I emphasize the necessary collaboration between professionals from different agencies involved. looking for a virtual team.
