Gino and the unexpected guest. Two men meet, a master and a young man “aspir-ing pupil”. Both men’s curiosity, both men’s hunger for relationships protect them from the pitfalls of the borderland within which they meet. They experience that place not as a border but as a frontier; a “promised land”, as mysterious as it is welcoming to explore together. One cannot consider the relationship between master and pupil without placing it in the broader reflections of the traits of an authentic or inauthentic life. To all this those two exposed themselves, walking and conversing in their internal and external “frontier”.
