Crazy for football Matti per il calcio, Story of a challenge of the director Volfango De Biasi and the screenwriter Francesco Trento is the last stage of a film journey which includes two documentaries, one TV movie and a book on the rehabilitation/resocialization project with football for psychiatric patients. In this article we talk about all the works thanks also to experience of the psychiatrist Mauro Raffaeli, protagonist of the first documentary Matti per il calcio (2004) together with the football team the Gabbiano. The evolution of the initial project is also underlined thanks to the presence of actors in Crazy for football Matti per il calcio (2021).
