After the introduction, a short analysis of the regulations in force about foster care and about some statistical data, in the article it is meant to point out the necessity that foster care is being preceded by the formulation of a project, the only guarantee that such an intervention can have a real efficacy also from the "recovery" point of view on the child victim of an abuse. The project, which shall keep into account the assessment carried out on the minor and his biological family, portrays the scenario according to which the different subjects of foster care will be able to move in a systematic and integrated way. For its effective working also the importance of a real integration among the different institutional subjects involved in the foster care project shall be emphasized and on this basis there can’t be but a common culture in point of children protection, the outcome of shared education courses.
