In this article the author (a systemic-relational psychologist and psychotherapist) reports on the clinical experience collected in a multidisciplinary centre, with SDD patients, subjects who were born with Sexual Differentiation Disorders. The author’s first goal for this research is to offer clarification with regards to this clinical field, which is often characterized by a certain degree of confusion due to its extreme sensitivity and complexity. This is the reason why the first part is dedicated to the description of some classifications: (sexual classification, male and female genital pathologies, Sexual Differentiation Disorders). The second part of this work is dedicated to illustrating the psychological analysis of a patient affected by genital pathologies, and the consequent therapy performed by the author in the multidisciplinary centre, as well as the specificity of the psychotherapy with patients affected by SDD, within a systemic- relational approach. In its final part, an exemplificative case is presented.
