The responsibility of customers paying for sexual services has recently emerged as a central issue in the debate on prostitution and the changes in the market of commercial sex. This case study on the informal social network La Ragazza di Benin City illuminates the scene of personal relationships between white men and young Nigerian women who were born in the border land of street prostitution. The uniqueness of the "case" is that it has created a place where male experiences become visible. The network’s goal is to make customers aware of the living and working conditions of migrant women and girls from whom they buy sexual services and to help them, often through marriage, exit prostitution
