Through the analysis of Mazzacurati’s most important movie "La giusta distanza" (The Right Distance), the author analyzes the style of the director who does not only represents acts or characters, but particularly the relationships between characters: for this reason this style is referred to as "Relational cinema". The story is built through glances, words, silences, and movement of the camera, following the characters body. This is how an innocent man, wrongly condemned, will be looked at from a "right distance" which allows to discover his innocence: the distance of the relationships among people.
