Abstract:
Cosa sono le emozioni? Che funzionalità hanno per l’uomo? Quale ruolo gioca la relazione nello sviluppo della capacità di vivere le emozioni? Che utilizzo fa il terapeuta delle emozioni del paziente durante il processo analitico? Si tratta di domande importanti, le cui risposte mettono in luce le sottostanti idee di uomo e di cura. L'A. avvia una riflessione sulle concezioni attuali di emozione e competenza emotiva e sui risultati delle ricerche in questo ambito, proponendo una visione differente del significato delle emozioni e del vivere le emozioni, alla luce della teoria dei sistemi dinamici non lineari, nell’ottica dell’epistemologia della complessità.

You can call them.. emotions - What are emotions? What function do they have for human beings? What role does the relationship have for the development of the ability to experience emotions? How can the therapist use the patient’s emotions during the analytic process? These are important questions and the answers can show our implicit ideas about human beings and therapy. The Author suggests some reflections upon current definitions of emotion and emotional competence and upon researches in this field of study. She proposes a different point of view about the meaning of the emotional experience, following the theory of dynamic system and the epistemology of complexity.
