Nella considerazione del rapporto tra struttura e storia nella psicoanalisi abbiamo privilegiato una disamina dei concetti in gioco. La nostra conclusione è che la polisemia del concetto di struttura è molto ampia e che al di fuori del campo dello strutturalismo esso diventa sostituibile da altri concetti: sistema, istanze, ecc. Lo studio della storia ci porta a distinguere diverse "temporalità" nello psichismo umano, e in questo scritto cerchiamo di analizzarne alcune. Nelle conclusioni privilegiamo un aggiornamento dei modelli che adoperiamo nella pratica clinica.

In considering the relationship between structure and history in psychoanalysis, we privilege a close examination of the concepts involved. Our conclusion is that the polysemy of the concept of structure is very large and that outside the field of structuralism, it can be replaced by other concepts, such as system, instance, etc. The study of history leads us to distinguish different "temporalities" in human psyche, and in this paper we try to analyze some of them. The article ends with an updating of the models we use in clinical practice.
