Editorial Introduction - In this article I describe the experience of co-conducting two large groups using both group-analytic and psychodrama approaches with Marcia Karp. The first group was in the IAGP conference in Jerusalem in 2000 and the second in Istanbul in 2003. Reactions to this way of working were polarized. Some loved the experience. Others hated it but my view is that it is worth persevering because it provides the possibility of making sense of widely opposing views of the world when the prevailing spoken language is not readily available to everyone.
