Molti anni di ricerche hanno fatto confrontare il mondo della mafia con la terapia psicodinamica. Dopo una sintesi del lavoro, in questa nota vengono accennati per la prima volta alcuni casi di persone coinvolte in storie di mafia, con cui l’autore ha lavorato in psicoterapia o ha svolto dei colloqui. Questa esperienza pone molti interrogativi anche per la psicoterapia in generale. In particolare, va posta attenzione clinica al lavoro in contesti dove gli elementi di realtà antropologici e famigliari sono così presenti e nei quali le tematiche della paura hanno significativi momenti di verosimiglianza sociale.
Mafia and psychotherapy: notes on a research - In several years of clinical and conceptual research, the author has investigated the interface between the world of mafia and psychodynamic therapy. After a synthesis of this research, here for the first time some clinical cases of patients involved with mafia are reported. These clinical experiences raise several questions also for psychotherapy in general. In particular, the therapist’s clinical attention should be carefully paid to contexts in which the theme of fear is rooted in important aspects of external reality. Anthropological characteristics, family values and subcultures should also be carefully considered.
