Abstract:
La natura della città e i suoi processi di formazione dalle origini a oggi esprimono una primaria qualità della nostra specie, quella umana, contesa tra l’appartenenza ad una collettività e l’affermazione del proprio carattere individuale. La bellezza e la bontà, la giustizia e la sicurezza, la libertà e la concordia vanno di volta in volta patteggiate, per quanto ne concerne il significato, la specifica formalizzazione, l’orizzonte di condivisibilità. Sembra essere chiaro che nulla è frequentabile in campo urbano, in quanto settore principe del campo umano, al di fuori di un principio di relazionalità. In questo orizzonte di senso, l’idea della tradizione come enciclopedia entro cui trovare o riscrivere una grammatica per la traduzione dei nuovi termini della città ecologica, del paesaggio urbano e della sostenibilità abitativa, è la base del progetto comune, del progetto di un’architettura delle relazioni.

The nature of the city and its processes of formation from past to present are a primary expression of our species, human, belonging to a dispute between the community and the affirmation of their individual character. The beauty and goodness, justice and security, freedom and harmony must every time negotiate, about the meaning, the specific formalization, the horizon of sharable. It seems to be clear that nothing is common in urban field, as main sector the human field, outside of a principle of relatedness. In this horizon of meaning, the idea of tradition as an encyclopedia within finding a grammar or rewriting the translation of new terms of the ecological city, the urban landscape and sustainability of housing, is the basis of the joint project, the project of an architecture of relationships.
