The paper is about theoretical and clinical reflexions over the fantasmatic, mainly regarding obsessional neurosis and, also about hysteria. Starting from Freud and Lacan's texts different theoretical thoughts are linked, which, at the same time, support the clinical vignettes. Dealing with the problem of the fantasy is not an easy job from the clinical point of view. However, we also consider this is crucial for clinical effectiveness. From the phantasy we drift to desire in its different clinical presentations. Regarding clinical work, the fantasy involves a construction which is done in that analysis, with that analyst. The exchange about clinical work allows us to go deeper in the theory. It is about a praxis, where theory and practice involve each other. Every time we address clinical work we do it from a theoretical framework and, also, psychoanalytical theory would not be possible without clinical work.

Keywords: Fantasy, desire, desire in obsessional neurosis, desire in the neurosis, reading of "A child is being beaten", the fantasy as a construction in the analysis-clinical vignettes
