Places and people of my education. The article reports the interview to Bruno Morchio, psychologist and author of detective stories, set in the old Genoa, held in the Caffé degli Specchi during a spring afternoon (or was it autumn?). The underlying theme is that of memory and, following it, comes to Resistance, the relationship between experience and knowledge, parent-child relationships, displacement of old and new generations, father’s identity crisis, literature and many other things. A freewheeling chat, which was also attended by Dr Gianluca Carlini and Professor Cristiano Cassani, often interrupted by street vendors and musicians have come from distant lands in search of a better life.
