The "reputation" of a territory is a decisive element in order to guarantee the quality of its products and their differentiation, because it can make them unique and difficult to replicate. Relationship of the product with its territory can be fortified, and with it the differentiation of the product itself, by means of synergistic relationships that involve the operators of the same territory. With regard to the Fishing System, social capital is a strategy that makes it possible to overcome the apparent antithesis between environmental sustainability and economic sustainability. With regard to the Fishing System of a specific area, such as that of Terracina, availability and accessibility to social capital has been inferred by means of a focus group, namely on the basis of the opinions expressed by the entrepreneurs themselves of the local fishing industry.
