The European Union finally published the Directive (EU) 2015/2302 on package travel and linked travel arrangements repealing Council Directive 90/314/EEC. This article presents a first reading of the essential scopes and the content of this new regulation, pending Member States shall adopt and publish, by 1 January 2018, the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive. This legislative act presents innovation within the frame of full harmonisation, seeking moreover to close old loopholes and regulate the practice of dynamic packages
