Luigi Pagliarani simply “Gino”. The matrix of Luigi Pagliarani’s thought arises and develops in the radical need to activate and experience the responsibility of one’s exist-ence towards oneself and others as much as possible. Pagliarani practiced in his work the search for truth and authenticity in the intersubjective, group and institutional rela-tionship for the purpose of individual and collective development in the polis. Every choice forces an encounter with the Puer, that is, to mobilize that original instance of birth towards the search for one’s own originality, which it puts back into the world by generating one’s own existence. A particular constraint, identified by Pagliarani, con-sists in the anguish of beauty, which he theorizes by identifying the anxieties that inter-vene in self-realization, linked to uncertainty, fear and guilt, to the point of preventing their expression. Sentimental education therefore becomes the most powerful proposal for Pagliarani who proposes an action that is poiesis, and he knows how to transform affective reason into poetic reason.
