Risorsa Uomo is on the American Psychological Association's PsycINFO Journal Coverage List, a bibliographic database that lists the most important international titles and publications in the field of psychology as an aid to the analysis of articles and quotations. First published in 1993, Risorsa Uomo was founded to meet the demand for a specialist publication dedicated to work and organizational psychology. Its aim is to facilitate an exchange of scientific contributions and disseminate theories, models and tools deriving from Italian and international research. The objective of Risorsa Uomo is to become one of the sector's leading international scientific titles. The journal particularly welcomes input from researchers studying work and organizational psychology, training development and methodology. The editorial team is made up of academics involved in work and organizational psychology and some of the most qualified experts in the field.

La rivista Risorsa Uomo utilizza una procedura di referaggio doppiamente cieco (double blind peer review process) in conformità con gli standard scientifici internazionali.
Tale procedura prevede che ogni articolo venga sottoposto, senza alcun riferimento agli autori, all’esame di almeno due giudici che valuteranno in maniera indipendente il contributo. Gli autori inoltre riceveranno la valutazione dei giudici senza essere a conoscenza della loro identità.
