Studi Economici is edited by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Naples. The Journal, founded in 1941, publishes three issues a year. Refereed articles are published in Italian or English. Studi Economici is listed in EconLit, e-JEL and JEL on CD. After a relative decline in the period between the two world wars, economic studies in Italy have improved a great deal over the years. At first they followed in the footsteps of Anglo-Saxon scholars, but they then adopted more autonomous research approaches. Studi Economici fulfills a propulsive role in this direction, publishing contributions from Italian and foreign scholars and identifying relevant topics for more thorough analysis.
