Edited by CIRIEC (Italian Research and Information Centre on Social, Cooperative and Public Economics). CIRIEC was founded by Alberto Mortara. Economia Pubblica is dedicated to public intervention in economics. It focuses on historic and current debates on public intervention, either direct intervention, through public ownership of companies, or indirect intervention, through regulation. Each issue is composed of two parts: The first part features articles on the law, economics, and sociology, and institutional papers on various aspects of public economics. The second part features a bibliography and reading guide, and consists of reviews of public and social economics papers that have recently been published in Italian and international journals, as well as book reviews and bibliographical reading lists.
