It is actually contributing to change and modify the characteristics of modern economic systems. The most important aim of this study is to show and underline the evolution and the importance of corporate governance rules and patterns in the field concerning institutional investment of risk capital, with particular reference to the relation between investor ed enterprise, but also to the rules of "good government and management", which are fundamental for institutional investors. In fact, the problem is not related to the need of a corporate governance for itself, but to the need of a rational regulation for enterprise activity. Posizioni emergenti e fabbisogni di ricerca Abstract: The diffusion of ICT technologies, the increased customer heterogeneity, the spreading of differentiation strategies and the emerging form of convergent competition lead firms to explore different channels to interact with consumers. Such innovations drive managers to develop a multichannel approach toward customers aimed at designing, deploing, coordinating and evaluating channels through which firms and customers interact. This, with the goal of enhancing value offered to customers through effective customer acquisition and retention. The paper tackles this issue proposing a framework to analyze the drivers of customer channel choice in a multichannel environment Classification-JEL: Keywords: Note: Pages:237-264 Volume: 21 Year: 2009 Issue:2 File-URL:http://www.francoangeli.it/riviste/Scheda_Rivista.aspx?IDArticolo=38296&Tipo=Articolo PDF File-Format: text/HTML Handle: RePEc:fan:ededed:v:html10.3280/ED2009-002003 Number: 3 Template-type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Giorgia Profumo Title: Fusioni, acquisizioni e alleanze nel settore del trasporto aereo passeggeri Abstract: The present paper is aimed at analysing the strategic paths of airline companies, in order to understand recent trends and possible determinants. The evolution of aviation industry, boosted by external events such as globalisation and liberalisation/deregulation processes have, in fact, launched a "risiko of the skies", that seems to have modified the traditional dichotomy between mergers and acquisitions and alliances. Therefore, the paper is so focused to understand if the recent wave of corporate M&A among airlines is the first step of a concentration process dominated by this type of growing path, or, instead, it is only a cyclical phenomenon Classification-JEL: Keywords: Note: Pages:265-293 Volume: 21 Year: 2009 Issue:2 File-URL:http://www.francoangeli.it/riviste/Scheda_Rivista.aspx?IDArticolo=38297&Tipo=Articolo PDF File-Format: text/HTML Handle: RePEc:fan:ededed:v:html10.3280/ED2009-002004 Number: 4 Template-type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Sara Cepolina Author-Name: Francesco Parola Title: L?evoluzione dei vettori low-cost nei principali mercati europei Abstract: The present paper is aimed at analysing the strategic paths of airline companies, in order to understand recent trends and possible determinants. Growing competition is making this more and more apparent. In fact, every destination (defined here as tourist district) has to position its products in such a way that gives them character and personality. This paper proposes a dynamic model of destination management. The usefulness of this work can be seen not only in the need to formulate a ??good strategy??, which is often described in terms of positioning or criticality (strategy content), but also a method or a path that enables firms to build that positioning or acquire that criticality (strategy process). The framework proposed here underscores the criticality of two different types of metamanagement processes: (i) a series of operative activities, here defined as primary processes, which can shape the resources of the district and serve to create, supply, and communicate local product systems, and (ii) a series of support processes, which can provide the ??glue?? between various players (public and private, profit and nonprofit, entrepreneurs and community) that operate within the district. If these processes are effectively managed, they have a significant impact on the competitive advantage of the firms operating in the tourism district. The monitoring of the activated dynamics represents an essential instrument for planning and organization. The attraction of an event is connected to the satisfaction of the visitor/consumer and has a multi-factorial basis. The analysis of the event Christmas Markets of South Tyrol is conducted according to the customer satisfaction theory of the three principal factors of services (basis, performance and excitement factors). The results of the two measurement methods of the linear statistic regression and the importance-grid are confronted. These notes discuss - in the interdisciplinary framework outlined in an important work by Capunzo (2008) - the synergies emerging from this mix and their implications for the matching between demand for and supply of social services.
