Critica di un paradigma emergente nella policy ambientale dell?UE Abstract: Circular Economy is a new driver concept in EU policy arena. It entails in the management of local public services such as waste, water, energy and transport, to stimulate the re-use, repair and recycling of existing materials and products, and to promote new growth and job opportunities. Circularity concerns also the cultural aspects, in particular, the adoption of social practices inspired by "informationalism" (Aneesh, 2012) such as sharing, peer to peer, copyleft in order to avoid any kind of waste. The paper discusses the contradictions between the social and political implication of a circular economy and the hegemony of the neoliberalism approach in the EU. In a perspective that sees compact urban system as a body and its communities as cells, the work focuses on the neighborhood in an ecological key, assuming it as a fundamental analytical unit to contextualise the socio-environmental innovation, both in terms of policies and bottom-up practices. Analyzing social and spatial inequalities that specifically characterize the urban neighborhoods and civic resources that represent catalysts of socio-environmental innovation, we introduce the theme of territorial social capital. A methodological path for its measurement is outlined, through a collection of information at the micro level, integrating classical research techniques with an approach known as "Ecometrics". Through these tools, it is possible to pay due attention to the social and spatial morphology of neighborhoods: different territorial social capitals become a key element for the planning and implementation of urban policies and practices of sustainable transition. Coworking is part of those social innovation practices that impact on a community as a whole, since while creating new work opportunities or producing new goods and services, it also has beneficial effects in other sectors such as education, welfare and social inclusion. A close relationship has been observed between the development of coworking practices and city change, which requires a description of the urban context where these practices set in, may it be the suburbs or the city centre, or the multi shaped places originated from the post-metropolitan development of Italy. Exploratory researches focused the potential of coworking, as a new model of work organization, and also enabled the investigation of its ways of creating value in relational and social contexts, in personal empowerment processes, and in the new forms of connection within the local communities where it sets in. Thanks to a series of semi-structured interviews addressed to leaders of organizations for the elderly, (professional associations, trade unions, social promotion associations, voluntary associations), with a cumulative membership of more than 6 million, the investigation analyses the lexical knowledge of environmental literature (climate change, ecological footprint, climate mitigation, etc.); the network structure (e.g. if there are roles or delegates to environmental policies); the actions and projects undertaken (energy efficiency, smart mobility, sustainable lifestyles and consumption, etc.). The research takes into consideration the projects carried out by the individual networks of the elderly to provide an overall evaluation of the networks in response to environmental challenges. The result is a cognitive-empirical picture of the role of Italian "Grey Networks" in responses to environmental problems and in fostering dialogue with other social networks on these issues. In the light of the data analysed, the research team takes the responsibility of suggesting strategies and projects that could be used by the networks at macro, meso and local levels. Dal "vandalismo tradizionale" al "vandalismo in doppio petto" Abstract: The theme of vandalism is undoubtedly of great breadth and complexity and is usually focused on the question of illegality, crime and their prevention. The areas of action of vandalism range from the micro dimension to the large scale, from the deliberate gesture to the absolute lack of meaning, from the economic motivations to the claims or to the artistic gesture. Next to this review of "traditional" vandal-ism we wanted to place a "double-breasted vandalism", drawing inspiration from the pioneering reflections of Antonio Cederna, which is not rooted in deprivation or degraded socio-territorial context but in privileged and socially guaranteed areas which have as the ultimate goal profit, self-assertion, achievement of criminal goals, when not professional self-referentiality. It is a vandalism that often, far from provoking social disapproval, acquires merit as a "modernizing gesture" and development. Consequence of this vandalism is the sack that has occurred and is still under way in large portions of our country?s territory.
