AB -  OpenMunicipio is a web application that uses official data from municipalities to provide to citizens a set of information services, in order to improve their active participation in the political life of the city. Information on activities of the Mayor and City Council are updated in real time. All acts, resolutions, motions, amendments, are tracked since the beginning, before they were discussed and voted, and citizens can follow all the approval process. Each politician has a dedicated page with statistics on what he or she has done. All acts are categorized and georeferenced. Citizens can comment and monitor politicians, topics and neighborhoods. OpenMunicipio is free software (open source), freely available and reusable. It is also provided as a service through the OpenMunicipio.it platform
