Giovanni Filoramo, the scholar of the History of Christianity, formulates some considerations about the relationship between the contemporary world, with its globalization processes and its trends which fragmentize the hegemonic pretences of the “Western reason” and the Sciences of Religions, which are multifold realities both from the point of view of disciplines and from the point of view of methodologies. According to the author, it is of primary importance, even in this field, to link the awareness of contemporary time with the memory of modernity.
