Uno studio sull'efficacia di un intervento di potenziamento lessicale-ortografico sul trattamento del disturbo di apprendimento dell'ortografia

This study aim is to verify the effectance of a lexical empowerment training on subjects with a specific disabilty for orthography learning. The training’s effectance has been proved on normative children yet. This treatment does not require to execute orthographic exercises to fix orthographic rules (superficial coding of stimulus), but it proposes a lexical empowerment (deep coding of stimulus) to promote the creation of a more stable and accessible semantic memory. Two cases are reported to illustrate the training administration and functionality: first case concerns a 9 years old child, second one a 16 years old boy, both of them having a diagnosis of specific learning disability for orthography. Results obtained for the two subjects, compared with normal population’s data, sustain the training’s effectance to reduce orthographic learning disability.
