The present article is about interventions with children and institutions (school, community). The recent literature clears up that it’s necessary a careful analysis of the contexts to comprehend how the development proceeds. We want to focus the attention on: 1) potentialities and impacts of developmental contexts; 2) it’s necessary to work on the contexts in order to optimize the effect of such contexts on the development; 3) it’s necessary to activate the existing resources that originate from the inside of the institution. In our work we refer to the attachment theory and the motivational systems theory. Key Words: Institution; Developmental Contexts; School; Community; Attachment; Motivational Systems.
