Eventi di vita negativi e comportamenti antisociali durante l'adolescenza: moderazione o mediazione del legame affettivo con i genitori? The purpose of the present study was to examine parents-adolescents closeness as both mediator and moderator of the relationship between negative life events and antisocial behavior during adolescence. Data were collected from 405 adolescents (152, 37.4% males), ages 16 to 20 in school. Adolescents completed a questionnaire in which they reported: Negative Life Events, Closeness to Parents and Antisocial Behavior. Negative life events predicted both increases in antisocial behavior and decreases in parents-adolescents closeness. Results seems to suggests that parents-adolescents closeness served as a mediator (but not as a moderator). Implication of the results for both theory and intervention are discussed.
