Callenging death: challenging the acting out - The comment to the clinical case presented aims at stressing the importance of the therapeutic cooperation and the possibility that, not only the therapist but the integrated service as a whole, could meet the patient and his family’s real needs. As the author underlines, this integrated intervention could help overcoming the hidden traps generating an acting which cannot only be seen is as a attempted suicide but also a possibility, on the part of the therapist as well as of the service as a whole, of destroying the delicate relationship of mutual trust between the patient and the therapist.
