A series of films that explore the concept of resilience, through the stories of characters, and outline a flexible route, certainly not exhaustive, that it may be offered in whole or in part as a group therapeutic work, and if necessary to draw on with an individual patient. The resilience, in ancient time known as fortitude, is the extraordinary man’s skill to not submit before distressing living conditions and to survive in the present trying to fling open the doors to all the possibilities to construct a better future on the certainty, as W.E.Henley wrote in his poem "Invictus".It matters not how strait the gate, how charged with punishments the scroll. I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul . Words that sound and fit when we refer to the Erickson’s man and the Erickson’s therapist that stimulate the patient to be again "the captain of his soul"
Keywords: Resilience, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, cinema, mourning, health, unforeseeable events
