The progressive aging of the population is a phenomenon which, in the last years, has interested all the industrialized countries, leading to a radical change in the structure of society. However, the aim of adding life to years and not just years to life is derived from the findings and the evidence that the increase number of elderly does not correspond for many of them an improved quality of life. The current society, supported by all-powerful and irrational need of eternity, dominated by youthfulness and dictatorship of the present, sustained by poor interest in the past, has, effectively, ruled out the possibility of the elderly to continue to fulfill its needs for affirmation and sharing, exposing it to the psychopatological risk of depression. In this socio-cultural context, the support and encourage the elderly to rediscover his rights, including especially that of the right to the anger, considered both as expression and self-realization both as development of a social feeling oriented toward the useful side of the life, will mean promote a brave and creative aging.
