The study of the psychological aspects related to migratory phenomena moves between highlighting the critical aspects that accompany migrations and identifying possible positive aspects. Apart from this polarization, it is important to focus on core psychological constructs through which to read the psychological dynamics regarding those who migrate and those who host migrants. The construct of identity is among these constructs and the new versions that the representation of oneself and others today assumes in multiethnic and multicultural contexts are connected to it.
