Obiettivo del presente lavoro è contribuire alla ricerca su pratiche, interazioni e processi di fruizione e valorizzazione dei beni culturali a seguito dell’implementazione di piattaforme digitali che possano costituire un ecosistema in cui attori differenti, ispirati dai principi dello sviluppo sostenibile, orientano le proprie interazioni alla creazione di valore condiviso.A tal fine, partendo dall’analisi della letteratura in tema di beni culturali, con particolare attenzione al contributo che essi possono offrire ad uno sviluppo sostenibile, il lavoro si focalizza sul ruolo che l’innovazione tecnologica, con particolare riferimento alle piattaforme digitali, può offrire alla sostenibilità e circolarità dei beni culturali. Tale ruolo è esaminato per il tramite di uno specifico case study relativo ad una piattaforma transdisciplinare finalizzata a testare, implementare e condividere nuovi modelli sostenibili di finanziamento, business e governance da applicare al settore dei beni culturali. Dai dati analizzati, il contributo delle piattaforme alla sostenibilità dei beni culturali si qualifica come un tema meritevole di approfondimento.;
