The use of cars is an example of different influence on health of environment. Traffic accidents and consequences on human life, physical and psychological health are examined in a methodological and theoretical view. The possibilities of using qualitative data in conjunction with quantitative data are shown in order to
examine the effects of cars mobility on short period (deaths, disabilities, etc.) and long period (pollution, social costs, etc.). Finally, the paper examines the political policies for prevention of risk and road security.
