The Information Systems, thanks to rapid changes that involve the productive process, constitute an interesting starting point to analyse the labour market, organizations and new professional profiles. Such issues would not draw attention from the symbolic sense-making gendered processes in Computer Science sector. These processes determine culture and division of labour in accordance with dichotomous logic rooted in western tradition. Starting from data of an action-research conducted in the Autonomous Province of Trento, the analysis considers main dichotomies of (scientific) western thought and aims to point out their influence on the gender construction process in Computer Science sector.
