This work draws a parallel between the development of family romances in the sphere of natural families and in that of formative training. COIRAG is a confederation of specialized groups, and since institutions including training institutions are family-oriented, the author highlights the fact that the school is particularly helpful in the rereading of the term romance. She thus reminds us that as experts in the fields of psychoanalysis and training, we must consider affective phenomena that we ourselves bring up during the training stage. Indeed, throughout training, as well, we move along the borders between Corinth and Thebes. As analysts, we know that Thebes is the place inhabited not only by parricidal and incestuous children, but by parents who are murderers and seducers. Consequently, didactics must equip itself to fight the spread of this curse, and beware of the temptation to follow the easiest truth. The trainers’ duty is to lead the various truths back to their affective origin. This does not mean that one truth is the same as another, but that through affection, all truths can be related and dialogue with one another peacefully, whether it be among members of the same family or between different families. In the COIRAG school, this duty is absolutely indispensable for the activation of a group that is able to work on the borderline, so as to control the span and flow of disagreement and difference.
