The landscape of megastructures - The theme of mega structures is associated in the article to the relationship between inner city and suburbs. Large buildings and the infrastructures which connect them - through the nodes - to the transport networks, ask for a new approach to the project of public space, often reduced to fragments difficult to practice, and to the project of landscape: the aim is to understand better the characters of the contemporary city. Two main elements are supposed to be taken in account to enhance urban design approach: the scale of projects and its coherence with context; the long time necessary for decisions, related to the various actors involved, especially in the case of mega infrastructures, and to the difficulty to coordinate them.;
