Impresa sociale e assistenza sanitaria nella Gran Bretagna contemporanea: una nuova prospettiva? - The difficult professionalization for the jobs related to the services to the person The authors divide their reflections on the process of professionalization into two parts: the first one identifies the activities carried out by employees who work in the field of the services to the person, the grouping of these activities into structured professions, the characteristics of the employees; the second part focuses on the difficult professionalization process for such activities. The people working in this services sector generally possess low qualifications and therefore the challenge of their professionalization is real. The second part of the essay examines the relationship between education and occupation and analyzes the opportunities for and obstacles to the professionalization through education.
