Citizen and participation. A study on two Open Space Technology - While deliberative experiences are increasing, few studies focused on the psychosocial variables which serve as incentive or hinder citizens’ participation in such contexts. We present preliminary data from a survey on 112 citizens who took part to two Open Space Technology (OST). The main aim of the study is to obtain information on the subjective evaluation of the participatory experiences and identify the variables playing a central role in making citizens available for future experiences. Results highlight that the judgment on the experience and perceived costs and benefits are crucial in determining the willingness of replicating participatory behaviours.
