In September 2010 the "Observatory of Psychology in the Media" (OPM) invited Paolo Migone to comment an article of a popular magazine that advised on how to choose a psychotherapist and published a list of «serious psychotherapy schools», that Migone criticized. One of these schools was the Center of "Brief Strategic Therapy" of Arezzo, directed by Giorgio Nardone, who, after reading this critique, threatened lawsuit unless Migone formally apologized. In this paper Migone apologies if inadvertently offended Nardone, and shows that his critique was addressed only to the ideas, not to the person. Furthermore, since Nardone had stated that he was «ready to discuss with him and any level», Migone takes this opportunity to ask Nardone some questions about his "Brief Strategic Therapy". In doing so, he takes up some arguments of a paper he wrote in 2005 (P. Migone, "Brief" therapists or "good" therapists? A critique to the concept of brief therapy. Psicoterapia e Scienze Umane , 2005, 39, 3: 347-370). In 2005 Nardone had said he was ready to discuss with Migone on that paper, but he never did. Since also in this second occasion Nardone was not replying, six weeks later Migone sent him a reminder, and ten days after this reminder Nardone finally replied. According to Migone, Nardone did not reply to the most important questions he was asked
