The article describes a clinical sequence occurred during the analysis of an elderly woman, who suffered from depressive anxiety with intense somatization. It stresses the particular quality of the experience of time made in the course of this clinical exchange, in which it seems that the psychic nuclei that have characterized the psychic life of the patient crowd with unusual intensity in the present moment of the analytic session. They cause an increase in the emotional temperature of the relationship that increases the levels of expectation and anxiety in both the patient and the therapist, causing significant changes in the habitual frame of the setting. This moment is followed by a phase of psychological creativity of the patient, i.e. the capacity to give new meanings to the psychic experiences, both current and past.
