The article shows a comparative analysis on the educational systems of the countries from European Union about arising the educational benchmarks of Europe 2020 Strategy, by using PISA 2009 data from OECD. Particularly, the article deepens the Italian framework by using data from the National Service of Evaluation of students of the ten ISCED grade (S.Y. 2011/2012).
