From 1929 until-1943 de Rossi organised yearly contests among curates concerning the production of-wheat, with the aim of mobilising the clergy in favour of the fascist government. De-Rossi also edited two journals, "Italia e fede" and "Rassegna Nazionale" popularising-the Fascist regime in catholic circles.-The article shows how de Rossi mingled catholicism, fascism and racism in his-propaganda and tries to characterise its qualities in comparison with other writers of-the period.
