The contribution deals with the topic of organizational reflection, and discusses its connection with the concept of authorship in organizational workplaces. The proposed integration among the two concepts, from a theoretical and an operative level, leads to explore methods and necessary conditions for promoting practical reflexivity in organizational contexts. Reflection is intended not only as the practitioners’ development of capabilities in observing, understanding and being aware of their work contexts, but mainly as the chance to transform the contexts themselves. With the help of an organizational case (a healthcare organization), the paper suggests some thoughts around how to accompany the organizational members from being just actors and spectators in their organizational theatres to becoming authors capable of promoting change in time of increasing challenges.
