Burnout, a psycopatological syndrome, arises in the work environment through continuous, intense and prolonged contact with suffering users. This research has been conducted on a group of professional working in the field of Community dental care, concerning people with social and/or psycho-physical disease. It explorer the relationship between burnout, personal and professional variables in order to identify risk and protective factors. The data analysis shows that risk factors are weekly working hours and number of children, whereas protective factor is job satisfaction.
