This article is dedicated to analyze the reasons that can help spread the experience of workers participation in Italy. They remain again limited to a minority number of companies. Among the most important novelty factors are the provisions of the Interconfederal Agreement of March 2018, which for the first time solemny sanctions the centrality of this policy for both social partners. But, according to the Author, this commitment will become effective only if the two social organizations activate a common control room to ensure adequate implementation.
