The author focuses on "the implications of ecosystems in analytical frameworks", in the transition scenarios opened by new governance of public space. In the "new" ecosystems a challenge arises between the dimensions of confluence for the analysis evaluating the social impacts, in view of the growing interest from a wide range of stakeholders and the coexistence of operational definitions and implementation profiles, fields of application and measurement systems. The "field" of observation carries large projections with it, in which the conceptual paradigms will have to deal with rather heterogeneous situations whose dynamism is not obvious at all. Development trajectories of social economy and new welfare models emerge in implications that are not always consequent.
