Starting from the fundamental principles of the Constitution, the essay enhances the perspective of "duty" alongside that of "right". After a focus on education, teaching, school, education in the family and outside the family, the article analyses the discipline relating to students and teachers, the framework of legislative competences, to conclude by considering some concrete problems and offering some operational proposals.
