In this brief comment on Romano’s (2022) paper "The autobiographical roots of Alfred Adler’s Individual Psychology", it is questioned whether it is methodologically correct to find in the nar-ration of Alfred Adler’s dramatic childhood experiences the only radical foundation of the con-struction of his theoretical system and of the conflict with Freud.
