The objective of the authors is to reinterpret the sexual symptom as a symbolic aspect of an underlying reality, which sees the integration of the physical and affective aspects, expanding the model proposed in the last century by the pioneers of sexology, through the inclusion of treatment of sexual symptoms in an integrated psychotherapeutic intervention which had been experimented in the clinic for almost 10 years. The working group was born from an encounter of sexology experts which, subsequently formed the Gestalt Psychotherapy with an Analytical orientation. Within this School of Specialization some co-workers have been involved in teaching themes regarding Bodily Process. Their methodology uses both individual and group work.
