The Covid-19 pandemic has radically changed clinical practice, introducing the need to deliver interventions electronically for many months; at the same time, psychotherapy training schools also initially had to suspend face-to-face training and then resume courses electronically, adapting the structure of the courses to this new method. The peculiarity of training in psychotherapy makes a completely remote training complex, especially for training’s experiential dimension. A SWOT analysis was carried out, involving the directors of the specialization schools in psychotherapy belonging to the SITCC to identify the schools’ strengths and weaknesses and the opportunities and risks that the current situation determines for training and trainees in the next months. The results focused on two macro-categories (opportunities and threats), which include some themes and sub-themes discussed to providesome food for thought and discussion for the organization of new teaching. Telematic teaching has undoubted advantages that all the participants underlined. However, it is essential to consider the adaptations necessary for the effective use of this modality. Most of the schools have expressed their desire to maintain the telematic modality for part of the teaching and recognize its value as an educational experience.
